  • Every positon is different! Some matches happen quickly and some take a little bit longer. As an average, it will take about 4 weeks!

  • This is a business that was started to help families in the community understanding that each family is unique and has different needs. If I am unable to serve you, I will give you other resources to get the help your family needs even if that means providing you with another agency name.

  • Your life is busy! Finding someone who is qualified, trustworthy, professional, fits your needs, and your family dynamic takes a lot of time and effort! Our screening process allows us to eliminate candidates who don’t fit our standards and yours. We send you two to three pre-screened candidates to choose from, which is less overwhelming than sifting through 20+ applications yourself.

  • Legally, nannies and household staff are required to be given a W2. Visit The IRS Guide for more information.

  • No, North Hills Nanny LLC. is a referral agency only. Families are responsible for paying their employee properly.

  • We understand that it doesn’t always work out. We offer a free replacement before 60 days.

  • While benefits aren’t necessarily required, they do attract higher quality and long term candidates.

Policies

We understand that it doesn’t always work out. We offer a free replacement before 60 days.
The agency agrees to do their best to provide a replacement nanny, there will be no additional fee to Client. The client understands and agrees that they are responsible for contacting and speaking directly to a representative of NHN, to inform the agency of any situation that may cause a nanny to quit or if there is any possibility of the nanny not working with the family. However, it is not an obligation of the agency to send a replacement nanny to the family. 

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for placements, under any circumstances. We understand that it doesn’t always work out. We offer a free replacement before 60 days.

Cancellation Fees

We understand circumstances arise & plans may change. We work hard to make sure our nannies and babysitters are available when you need them. To protect our sitters time, we have the following cancellation fee schedule.
TEMPORARY NANNY CANCELLATION FEE
If you cancel a temp nanny within 24 hours of when the nanny is scheduled, you do not have to pay the nanny. This allows for the nanny to adjust her schedule and find new work if needed. If it is less than 24 hours, you will need to pay her for the hours she would have worked because she provided you her availability and you're paying her to be available for you.

24 hour notice $30 fee to the agency + half of hourly wage paid to the babysitter
48 hour notice $20 fee
EVENT BABYSITTER CANCELLATION FEE
24 hour notice $50 fee to the agency + half of hourly wage paid to the babysitter
48 hour notice $25 fee
1-2 week notice $25 fee
REGULAR BABYSITTER CANCELLATION FEE
24 hour notice $50 fee to the agency + half of hourly wage paid to the babysitter
48 hour notice $25 fee

ADDITIONAL FEES

TRAVEL & PARKING FEES
If you require travel and lodging for your nanny, it must be paid in full PRIOR to travel. Nanny will not be required to pay any up front costs.
If your hotel babysitter incurs parking fees during your hotel stay, you will be required to reimburse her.

While we do our best to have a comprehensive list of pricing available, we understand that unique situations arise. Pricing is non all inclusive and additional costs may incur. If you have questions feel free to contact us. All costs are discussed during our consultation & included with your contract.
